Does my subscription automatically renew?
Find your renewal date, understand trials, and stop future charges.
Tethered subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Your receipt and the billing portal or app store show the price, billing period, and renewal date for the plan you selected.
If you started with a trial
Check the offer and receipt for when your trial ends and which recurring price follows it. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to continue. For free or discounted Apple trials, Apple advises canceling at least 24 hours before the end.
How to stop renewal
Follow the cancellation steps for the place you purchased and complete the final confirmation before the next renewal. Deleting Tethered from your phone does not stop billing. The partner who purchased a shared plan manages its renewal.
Check for a cancellation confirmation and an access end date. Canceling does not automatically refund charges already made.
